Bioinformatics on gene YHR087W

YHR087W, also known as RTC3, is a Saccharomyces cerevisiae gene of unknown function that shares a conserved protein domain and structural similarity with the human Shwachman-Bodian-Diamond syndrome (SBDS) protein. The goal of this project is to better understand the function of RTC3 and reveal insight into the molecular mechanisms responsible for Shwachman-Diamond syndrome.
