ABOUT OUR BLOG

About Our Blog

We created this blog for our Arts One seminar with Professor Robert Crawford. Seeing as there’s about twenty people in our class, we don’t always get the chance to say what we feel, so we’ll post on here every so often to express ourselves. Additionally, our blog will be used to talk about our overview of Arts One in general and as a way of venting when our final rolls around in April. We hope to be able to look back on our posts at the end of first year so we can laugh at how bad our writing was and (hopefully) smile at how good it turned out to be.

What’s Up With That Title?

Anyone who’s anyone has read Plato. At least, we have.

That’s how we came up with our title. The allegory of the cave is arguably the most famous part of Plato’s Republic. And seeing as our names combined are reminiscent of the cave, we thought we might as well combine them.
