\nLost in the aisles of somewhere,
\nEntrapped in the concept of nowhere.
\nI am in search of a destination,
\nCrossing paths across terminal location.
\nCitizen, bound by an ethnic circulation,
\nInternational, condemned to encircling global territory.<\/p>\n
Immigration, I march down barricades,
\nGuarded by soldiers of treason, renegades.
\nA buzzer goes off and I fail the test,
\nof what you may ask,
\nColour, race? Identity, space?
\nWould I pass the test?<\/p>\n
Confined now to seats with strangers,
\nembarking on a similarly different journey.
\nOne hundred and ninety-six unique people,
\nvariant definitions of home.
\nA cataclysm of diverse cultures,
\nwithin an arms reach, yet ever so often untouched.<\/p>\n
If “airports”, symbols of sincere goodbyes,
\ncould become springboards of eternal companionships.
\nand harness their\u00a0true potential,\u00a0it would not be a pity.
\nA serene-ly-deep-pity.
\nViolence and destruction,
\nfor fear of superstition and conventional\u00a0thinking.
\nA chance at multi-culturalism\u00a0& ethnic-integration,
\nlost at each passer-by, neighbour and attendant.
\nAll masked by a determination to reach home;
\na mere destination.<\/p>\n
