This Month:
Totem Plays Outdoors Take Bowen Island
Saturday, January 31st
Meet in the Commonsblock at 8 am!
Join us on an amazing ferry ride to Bowen Island for a 2 hour hike through beautiful BC, including a lake, old growth forests and incredible views of the ocean coast. Wraps around Killarney Lake, and is a reasonably easy and flat trail, so great for all levels!
WE ARE PROUD TO SAY WE ARE PARTNERING WITH TOTEM PLAYS OUTDOORS, AND SO THEY WILL BE JOINING US ON THIS JOINT HIKE! GREAT WAY TO MEET NEW PEOPLE!
Taking a ferry to the Sunshine Coast is definitely something to check off the BC bucket list! The hike will take up a majority of the day, but trust us, it’s worth it!
Bring your Upass for Public Transit to Horseshoe Bay. The ferry fare is 11.65 for round trip! Pack snacks/a lunch, or purchase them on the ferry.
Be sure to wear good hiking/walking shoes, and dress for the weather! Information regarding waivers to be signed will be posted closer to the date.
This hike is going to be one of our highlights of second term! 🙂 Hope to see you all there!
