Earthworks was introduced to our class through the artist Andy Goldsworthy. Earthworks is art, which is inextricably linked with the natural environment. Land art involves manipulating items in the natural environment to create an A critical component of his artwork is its transitory nature because it must withstand the conditions that surround the art in the environment. Factors, such as wind and rain can have a significant impact on the longevity of the piece.
