Colour Theory
Experimenting with colour can be fun! Using inexpensive tempura paint, students explored the primary and creating secondary colours. In groups, students were encouraged to represent the primary and secondary colors in some way.
The Color wheel was introduced:
- Red, Yellow and Blue are primary colors
- Orange (yellow/red), Purple (blue/red) and Green (yellow/blue) are secondary colors
- Complementary colors – opposite on the colour wheel
