In November 9th , the Citizenship and Immigration Canada(CIC) shrank the immigrate policy without any indication. Cooks, food service managers, executives, administrative assistants, accountants and retailers, these six categories of occupation will not be able to apply for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) any longer.
As is known to all, Canada has become a migrant nation. A lot of businessmen and entrepreneurs have been attracted, which leads to an increasing trend in economic. Many international students come to study because of Canada’s original policies as well. However, the Department of Immigration repealed the policy to reduce the backlog and shorten the approval time. The change is undoubtedly a blow to many applicants, especially the international students who are studying in these majors and aim to immigrate. Not only do applicants feel disappointed, immigration consultants are also upset because their business will face more difficulties.
On the other hand, the reason why CIC implemented this strategy is that they hope to attract more applicants in different diversities. Since there are enough people working for these jobs, Canada has to broaden the extent of employment by setting some compulsory rules in order to make more profits to the whole country.
