Reflecting on ten years of event organizing and volunteering

I’m 23. The first time I ever helped plan an event was in grade 7, at 12. For some reason, I was elected class committee vice-chairperson. Work really isn’t about work. It’s about managing human relationships. Now why do they pretend work is only work in school all through my education? I’m in a bit of a crazy situation at work right now. It’s all about how to get through this with a good balance in my human relationships.

Tiffany in five sentences…

Tiffany prefers to spend her days globetrotting and living out of a backpack. She is deeply intrigued, frustrated, and inspired by international development work, especially in food security, education policy, and citizen agency issues. One day, she hopes to convince the world economic system to work in favour of the marginalized and the environment. One of her identities is being a graduate from the Global Resource Systems program in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at the University of British Columbia. She aims to write posts that will make her cringe in ten years on this blog.
