A Case Study of Chinese Bracket: Function vs. Ornament<\/p>\n

Inspired by the precedent of Chinese bracket, Dougon<\/em>g, the sculpture focuses the transition from being functional<\/strong> at the bottom by using bracket supporting the cantilever to ornamental<\/strong> at the top by extruding the cantilever, inverting the bracket and cantilever, and supporting the nothingness.<\/p>\n
