Due to the new proposed Ski Resort in Garibaldi, we created an environmental assessment that showed the areas in the project boundaries that would disturb important wildlife (old growth forests, fish habitats, red-listed species etc)
Using tools like buffer, clipping and classify, the maps produced clearly shows areas that would be in danger if the resort is built.
I made a report analyzing the feasibility of the ski resort and gave suggestions according to criticisms that are brought up.
Overall, with careful consideration to environmental protected areas, the ski resort can pose as a great boom for the people and economy of BC.
