Now that I am done my short practicum I am EXTREMELY excited for the long one. I have learned so much and I cant wait to come back.
One thing I am very proud of is a potential legacy that I will be able to leave behind at MBSS.
When I entered the school I immediately approached the First Nations Advocates in hopes to arrange a conference for the graduating Aboriginal youth of MBSS. I hope to teach them about the world of Post Secondary Education and what is out there for them in terms of bursaries, scholarships and support. I have been extremely lucky to have received a lot of support from the the Aboriginal community in all of the schools I have attended. I am very excited and nervous for this but I still cant wait!
