I accidentally click into this post about Gap\u2019s new logo. What\u2019s so special about this news? It again shows the power of social media.<\/p>\n<p>New Gap logo&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/eunkwan\/files\/2010\/10\/0-gap-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you still think company\u2019s logo is by its owner\u2019s preference or tastes, you are not living in the 21<sup>st<\/sup> century.\u00a0 As most of the people who have seen Gap\u2019s Logo, I am shocked. This new logo no longer reminds me about Gap\u2019s image of a clothing producer, but instead, an IT company.\u00a0 Well, Gap may not care about what I think; however, I am sure they care about the \u201cflap\u201d in social media.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s happening on Facebook and Twitter?<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, Gap\u2019s fans on Facebook and Twitter are all furious about the new logo. They all prefer the old one better.
