The presentation will use the <strong>EDI Core Training Slides<\/strong> (please email edi@help.ubc.ca to request a copy) adding local EDI results and community stories about the use of data and action around early childhood.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">During the training, teachers are invited to log on to the <a href=\"http:\/\/edi.ubc.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">e-EDI<\/a> system to view their class list and provide time for teachers to work through a practice questionnaire as a group.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>When<\/b><b>? <\/b>January<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>Who? <\/b>Your District Team is responsible for hosting the Teacher Training at your School District by the end of January. The Teacher Training is for Kindergarten teachers who are new to the EDI questionnaire and will be completing the EDI questionnaire in February.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Teachers who have previously participated in EDI Teacher Training are not required to attend. Instead, they are required to watch a series of brief refresher videos that can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/trainers\/teacher-training\/#experience\">here<\/a>. The returning teacher will be compensated for the equivalent of one EDI questionnaire (20 minutes) for this refresher training.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>Where<\/b><b>? <\/b>Hosted at the school district, ideally in a computer lab or with mobile technology (laptops, tablets).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b>How? <\/b>Teachers will be reimbursed for the half-day of training as well as reimbursement for travel costs to participate in training.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TEACHER TRAINING SESSION INFORMATION Host EDI Teacher Training (Download PDF Version) \u00a0 What?
