This information is invaluable to your school district as it is reported back. As a school district, you have two excellent options to facilitate this training. Your school district can take the lead on an <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/trainers\/teacher-training-session\/\"><strong>in-person teacher training session<\/strong><\/a> or your teachers can participate in a <strong>HELP led webinar<\/strong>. To discuss your options, please contact the <a href=\"mailto:edi@help.ubc.ca\">EDI Team<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">If you plan to lead an <strong>in-person training session<\/strong>, you can review the Teacher Training Session Information page <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/trainers\/teacher-training-session\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Step 5:<\/strong> Distribute <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/trainers\/resources\/#principal\">Principal<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/trainers\/resources\/#teacher\">Teacher<\/a> Packages (Intro Letter, Info Sheet, etc.) by the <strong>end of November<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>December<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Step 6:<\/strong> Receive <a href=\"https:\/\/edi.ubc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">e-EDI<\/a> Login Instructions on <strong>Monday, December 1, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Step 7:<\/strong> Send home <strong>Parent\/Guardian Informed Passive Consent Letters prior to the Winter Break<\/strong>. You can use this <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/trainers\/resources\/#template\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">email template<\/a> for your outreach.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Step 8:<\/strong> Please share the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/trainers\/files\/2023\/08\/EDI-Info-Sheet-2023-24.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>EDI Info Sheet<\/strong><\/a> with schools to include on their website, in their school newsletter, and\/or on their bulletin board.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>January<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>Step 9: <\/strong>Teacher Training<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\"><strong>\u00bb Option 1 &#8211; District Hosted Teacher Training<\/strong>: You will be hosting an in-person teacher training session in January or early February. Please ensure that you have adapted the <strong>Core Teacher Training slides <\/strong>(email edi@help.ubc.ca to request this slide deck) for your school district.<br \/><strong>\u00bb Option 2 &#8211; HELP led Teacher Training Webinar:<\/strong> Please send your teachers a reminder to register.
