-Learning that involves a transformation or shift in perspective as learners critically reflect on and evaluate their own assumptions and popular discourses. Often triggered when a problem is encountered that cannot be solved through the current frame of reference.
Multimodal Teaching
– Teaching students through multiple modes of communication to target all learners
Multi-literacy
– Teaching students to be literate in new forms on communication and tools of learning. Being multi-literate is not about learning or teaching through the set rules and norms of pedagogies. It is being literate in a variety of meaning-making schemas relating to culture, identity, math, language arts, and other curricular subjects.
Digital Literacy
– To be digitally literate means to be competent in making and finding information and communicating through digital tools.
