Our Path

I am guessing that some of you might not know where Inuvik is, or where the path we are taking up north might be found. Well here is a map with our planned route, we might dip into Alaska through the Top of The World highway, but more on that later.
While i was doing some playing around with google maps I discovered that our trip is equivalent in km (although we will be doing at least 1400km on dirt highway) with the trip from Rome, Italy to Kiruna, in northern Sweden.

Should be fun!

The trip sounds like a lot of fun guys, I look forward to the posts. Enjoy the great, probably melted, white north.

Good call on the blog. Looking forward to photos and stories!

Hey Doug and Lana!
This looks like it’ll be an amazing time. If you want to stop in Williams Lake for a quick swim and a snack on day 1, let me know, and I’ll make sure my brother is home. My house is right on the highway, so you could probably do it in 15 minutes if you’d like.

Yay Travel Blog!!!!

Did you take the picture in the banner? So lovely! Do you remember where it’s from?

Driving from Rome to Kiruna would also be quite the trip. One that would have to take more than 17 days. It’s an amusing comparison.

Safe drives and fun adventures to you!!

Banner photo was me. It was taken in the rockies (Pedley Pass) over the Canada Day weekend.

Thanks for all the well wishes!
