What a great assignment. I really enjoyed this even though at times it was incredibly frustrating. There were a few instances where I caught myself thinking “I wish we were just taught the answer” as is the case in a traditional classroom, having to dig to find it really will pay dividends in the long run.
My Moodle comfort level is now significantly higher than when I started this course. I also was pleased to see how the class came together to support each other in finding the answer, even though we may not have been close to the correct answer.
I am excited to take this and put together some actual courses for students next term. I have really come to enjoy working with Moodle as it has proven to be incredibly easy to work through. Perhaps the biggest reason is the culture of collegiality that it spawns. Checking out the forums, posting questions, finding all the online resources gave me a feeling as if I was always supported.
Thanks John for never giving us the answer. I am not 100% sure if I nailed each component, however, hopefully my learning curve will continue with Moodle well past this course.
