Learning Moodle has been a huge benefit to me in my current context. I hope to be instructing online in the very near future and our college just happens to use Moodle as their LMS platform. Having the opportunity to learn the assessment side of it has been a fun experience. I have quickly realized how time consuming creating assessment is. In all the online courses I have participated as a student, none have used quizzes. I can somewhat see why, as it is a time consuming process creating the content for the quizzes. Having said this I can see how the time savings would come into play on the back end through the auto marking. I can also see how students would come to appreciate the immediate feedback.
I have been impressed with how easy it has been to learn and then create the different types of questions. I would like to create fill in the blank questions, yet couldn’t find how to do this. I was also wondering if you could imbed video in the questions. I could only find how to embed images.
