My name is Tyler Hesketh and I have lived in Kelowna British Columbia for the past 18 years. I am 22 years old and a proud Canadian.  I was recently at UBC in Vancouver for a semester exchange that ended in December 2017 where I started this blog. I enjoy all things outdoors as well as hockey, soccer and other sports.

Once I graduated and developed my marketing management degree after fourth year,  I began travelling around the world. On a recent business trip to Asia this January (2019) I was accompanying my uncle in Hong Kong, China, Vietnam and Malaysia and observed and studied him working. He runs his own business for the baby furniture industry with select products of highchairs, baby beds, and more. I watched product development, negotiation and learned a lot about how business is conducted in these countries with relevance to production in factories. Other topics included shipping and international trade. Obviously, there is much to learn about that industry but I learned small piece of the pie.

My posts are focused on sustainable marketing and topics that relate to sustainability. Some are new ideas, some are questioning current systems, and some are works in progress. Some recent inspiration was taken from my trip in Asia. Take of them what you will and I hope you enjoy.
