I had a look at Emma Pindera’s speculative future for this linking assignment.
She and I both went down the same rabbit hole for our predicting the future assignments and it was neat to see they different ways that we both arrived at the same conclusion; that being that technology has the potential to be the cause of our destruction, or our salvation from it.
I liked the images she chose too (shown above) – particularly in her utopian offering. The inclusion of green energy was an important distinction to have there, as there is no way forward without it. Her employ of upper case letters through her poems were of interest to me as well, and that’s something I’d like some more insight into.
