Like some people who will read this, I teach high-school French. And like nearly everyone who will read this, I took high-school French. Myself, I happen to teach both core French (a course which seeks to expose to kids to the basics of French for the first time) and French Immersion (a course which seeks to establish and to reinforce a deep seated capacity in oral and written French). For our purposes, we’ll only be focussing on the former.
