When Nano Arrives in North America…

Based on class topic “Marketing Meets Accounting”.
The world’s cheapest car has arrived in India in July 2009 at the retail price of just over 2,000USD. Tata Motors has designed the Nano to make ownership more accessible to people who have lower incomes in India and also hopes to see the “low-buck city car” arrives in the North America by 2011.
Nano will bring convenience to many people especially college students with such price. I’m really excited to see it’s appearance in North America soon! I wouldn’t say Nano will be very successful in North America but I’m pretty sure it will make the sales. However, whether or not it will have a huge affect other car brands is still a question.
As for myself, if I needed a car during my university years, I would definately get Nano cause the price is cheap. The quality however would be one of the doubts people would have while buying Nano. Therefore, I wouldn’t use Nano to travel long distance. But I don’t doubt that Tata Motors will improve the quality of Nano in the future. We’ll just have to wait and see.
