Promotional Sales Never End

Two weeks ago I received an promotional code of 30% off from Gap and I was very eager to use that promotion because I felt that I could be a good deal that’s why it wasn’t for EVERYONE but only for Gap’s loyal customers.

Before the deadline of the promotion I managed to use 30% off offer and was very happy with the purchase because it was a pretty good deal!

However, right after the this promotion ends, I received another email advertising its NEW 40% off for all items sale for EVERYONE. Right at that moment I felt cheated by Gap for luring me into the 30% sale when there’s a 40% sale coming next (and its for all customers).

From what I have learnt, there is NO NEED for rushing to sales because there could be a better sale coming next.

Gap Sprize

Last year Gap has launched its new customer loyalty program SPRIZE. Read more about Sprize here.

My experience with Sprize is not to bad but it isn’t “surprising” either. It’s been more than a year I have been with Sprize and so far I only recieved approximately $60 credit from an item I bought last year. In some ways it did make me feel better for buying things from Gap because although they were full priced when I bought them, it didn’t matter because I would still get the discount (credit) if the item’s price became lower. However, it didn’t happen often enough so I didn’t feel as satiesfied as Sprize expected me to be.
