UBC Plauder-Treff

UBC Plauder-Treff is UBC’s weekly German conversation hour. It’s an initiative by the UBC German Studies program to promote language learning outside of the classroom and encourage German learners at UBC to apply what they have learned in class in real life. At Plauder-Treff, students get the opportunity to practice speaking German with members of the German-speaking community at UBC, including fellow learners and native speakers, in a casual and relaxed setting. 

Plauder-Treff takes place every Tuesday from 5 – 6PM at Buchanan Tower 910. All members of the UBC community who speak German, regardless of their language level, are welcome! Coffee, tea, and snacks will be served :)
