Sorry this is late! I completely forgot about it! \u00a0Going along with my theme of not-being-a-reflection, here is my ode to PE teachers through the eyes of the student! \u00a0Enjoy!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
English, math, oh what a bore!<\/p>\n
I fidget in my seat, bum sore,<\/p>\n
C\u2019mon clock, a little more!<\/p>\n
I just want to play and score.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The clock says ten, the teacher stands,<\/p>\n
\u2018Lets calmly walk\u2019, teacher demands<\/p>\n
We all file up, our hands in hands<\/p>\n
Anxious, nervous, everyone understands<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We enter the gym, all hell breaks loose,<\/p>\n
We shame each other, playing duck duck goose.<\/p>\n
We play with balls, that are dirty with use<\/p>\n
We swallow our fear, like tightening the noose.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It\u2019s baseball now, there is fear in the air,<\/p>\n
Who will strike out, this game isn\u2019t fair.<\/p>\n
There\u2019s a fly ball, catch it if you dare,<\/p>\n
Jimmy will pummel you at recess, with care.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Report card season, you get your first grade.<\/p>\n
You know with PE, you tried, and you played<\/p>\n
Hopefully an A!, last night all you prayed,<\/p>\n
A B-, poor skill set, is what the letter displayed.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
PE, what a scene of mockery and shame,<\/p>\n
You know in your heart, it\u2019s all one big game<\/p>\n
In high school you skip, can\u2019t contain your disdain<\/p>\n
