Canvas is UBC’s primary learning platform for delivering online course content with everything in one place for equitable student access. It is robust, versatile, and can be customized to varying degrees by instructors. It helps deliver dynamic, engaging learning experiences for every student, everywhere, every day, from any device and is cloud-based, meaning no downtime and no file size limits. In Canvas, you can share materials (text or multimedia), enable student collaboration and discussion, manage assignments and quizzes, and assign grades. Canvas can also be used with many other UBC learning technologies.

Sauder faculty are encouraged to make use of Canvas to help organize their teaching and to maximize the learning experience for our students.
