The Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund (TLEF) was created in 1991 to enrich student learning by supporting and contributing to innovative and effective educational enhancements. TLEFs are financed entirely by a portion of tuition paid by UBC Vancouver (UBCV) students. Each year, the Office of the Provost invites all UBCV Faculties and Colleges to apply for TLEF funding for initiatives that will improve student learning experiences at the university.
Several funding opportunities are available at UBC for faculty, staff, and students interested in developing a TLEF project. If you have an idea but do not know where to start, we can help you develop your proposal and/or provide feedback on your proposal ahead of submission.
