“To get up each morning with the resolve to be happy is to set our own conditions to the events of each day. To do this is to condition circumstances instead of being conditioned by them.” ~ Ralph Waldo Trine
When you hang around people that are energetic, you become
energetic. When you eat healthy, you feel healthy. When you set your mind in a positive mood every morning, you feel better about your day.
Whether its reading these positive emails, praying, meditating, or reading from a positive book, I challenge you to do something positive right after you get up for just a week and assess how you feel compared to the past few weeks. I believe that you will feel much better about your day.
But, I can say whatever I want here, and they don’t mean anything unless you take the actions to implement them. Make it an action plan, write “I will read something positive every morning” on a sticky note and post it on your bedroom mirror/wall, and take the necessary actions. After a week assess how you feel.
And the next time you get stuck in traffic, or wake up to rainy weather, or break something, think positive about the situation. If you can’t change the situation, there’s no point getting fussed about it. If you can change the situation, take the necessary steps to do it. Be a person of action!
