[Exercise] How to prevent a quarter life crisis

Life Quote:

Your personal philosophy is the greatest determining factor in how your life works” ~ Jim Rohn

People around their mid twenties tell me that they’ve reached a quarter life crisis and don’t know what to do with their lives. And when I ask them why, they say it’s because they don’t like their job and feel they are at a loss of direction.

In all these cases, the fundamental thing they aren’t doing is seeking out something they enjoy. They would much rather keep working at the same job until maybe one day they’ll just get use to it. Think about that. People aren’t willing to expose themselves to new ideas, and would much rather procrasinate and hope things will work out.

Do you want to be bound be mediocrity?

If not, the first step is building a strong belief system about yourself. What would you want someone to say about you at your funeral that would describe you as a person of character? Take 10 minutes over the next few days and write those down. Then make action plans on what to do to achieve those objectives, and then get out there! Expose yourself to existing information, find a mentor who can guide you. Just don’t sit back and hope everything will work out.

Have an amazing day!
