[Video] Ask yourself why first, before you set out to do something

This clip was brought to my attention by Winnie Lai of Clinicbook. A great and passionate entrepreneur. Love this clip by Simon Sinek (after the break), because he teaches to ask “why?” first before you do anything.

Most people start a business to make money. While I don’t discount that your business needs to be kept financially afloat, if you really want to build a great company…

you have to very clearly align your beliefs with your product. But this concept applies to your personal goals as well. Why do you stand for what you say you stand for? Just like how your organization or business needs to stand for something that you fundamentally believe in, or else you will only ever be a good company. The ones who can align the beliefs with their passion and love in life are the ones that really can achieve greatness.

“People don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it”, people don’t like to be sold, but they love to buy.
