[Video] Ask yourself why first, before you set out to do something

This clip was brought to my attention by Winnie Lai of Clinicbook. A great and passionate entrepreneur. Love this clip by Simon Sinek (after the break), because he teaches to ask “why?” first before you do anything.

Most people start a business to make money. While I don’t discount that your business needs to be kept financially afloat, if you really want to build a great company…

[Video] You have to love what you do

You have to have a lot of passion for what you do because its so hard that if you don’t, any rational person would give up. And you need to do it over a sustained period of time.

The ones that are successful in the eyes of society, are successful because they love what they do so they could persevere when it got tough, the ones that didn’t love it quit because they are sane. What rational person would keep doing what their doing over the long term if they didn’t like it?

Winners never quit, quitters never win

Winners never quit, and quitters never win.” I encourage you write these words out and place them in front of your bedrest, so that you may see them every night when you retire, and when you wake up. A great day starts with a winning and positive attitude.

Many people have claimed to have said this, it doesn’t matter who said it, just believe it.

There were many times in my life where I felt that there was no possible way for something to work out. And everyone around me said that there was no way it will ever work. And even when I prove them wrong, they say that I got lucky. Surround yourself with people who will support you and encourage you, instead of ones that like to put you down. They may be trying to boost their own ego.

If you want something really bad, put that last ounce of effort in to try and make it happen, you’ll be surprised at what you can accomplish. Many people fall a few feet short, because they didn’t give that last bit of effort. That’s what separates the winners from the losers.

The power of human willpower embodied by those who dare to say “they can” are the ones that have truly moved the human race forward.
