Valerie lived in West Vancouver since January of 2008. Prior to that, Valerie lived in
Hong Kong for three and a half years, where she attended an international high school
called King George V School. Before moving to Hong Kong, Valerie actually spent two
years living in Victoria, and earlier to that she lived in Toronto. You would think that
Toronto is her hometown but she was actually born in New Jersey; but only stayed there
for 2 months because at that time her family was living in Hong Kong. She had lived
there until she was two years old and then moved to Toronto.
With all the different places that Valerie has lived in, she enjoys living in Hong Kong
the most. After four years, Valerie sees herself graduating from the Sauder School of
Business with a BCom and hopefully with a major in Marketing. She hopes to follow her
mother’s footsteps and pursue a career in garment trading in Hong Kong. Although she
prefers Hong Kong, Vancouver is pretty high on her list too. She loves attending UBC so
far and hopes to get more involved in clubs such as Bizzcomm.
Valerie is quite active and loves to play all sports. When she has spare time, she loves
going for long run. Being the youngest of three, Valerie is the baby of the family.
Although the three of them don’t live together, they always try to get together for
activities, like hikes or bike rides.
