But there&#8217;s still a lot we don&#8217;t know about this enigmatic ingredient. In this post, we&#8217;ll explore what THC-X is, its potential effects and uses, legality issues, and more.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"what-exactly-is-thc-x\">What Exactly is THC-X?<\/h2>\n<p>THC-X seems to refer to a few different things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A proprietary cannabinoid ester blend called &#8220;Formula X&#8221; sold by the brand Frozen Fields. This contains delta 8 THC esters like acetoacetate, butyrate, and isovalerate.<\/li>\n<li>A generic marketing term some brands are using for unknown cannabinoid blends in vapes, gummies etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So in summary, THC-X is a vague umbrella term lacking defined meaning in the cannabis industry currently. The original THC-X product from Frozen Fields contains bioavailable delta 8 esters with claimed fast-acting, long-lasting effects.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"what-are-the-effects-of-consuming-thc-x\">What are the Effects of Consuming THC-X?<\/h2>\n<p>Again this depends which THC-X product you have. For Frozen Fields&#8217; ester formulation, they market ultra-potent, smooth euphoric effects.<\/p>\n<p>Generally THC-X refers to psychoactive cannabinoid blends. So you can expect cannabis-like effects if you consume THC-X vapes, edibles etc from recreational brands. However the exact ingredients and quality can vary drastically between producers.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"will-thc-x-cause-you-to-fail-a-drug-test\">Will THC-X Cause You to Fail a Drug Test?<\/h2>\n<p>It&#8217;s wise to avoid THC-X formulas before a drug screening.
