Dear fellow classmates:
I’m looking for three individuals in this course who could provide me with insightful and meaningful feedback for the coming assignments. The goal is to create a writing team in which we have differing strengths to complement each other and bridge the gap between our weaknesses. This is an exciting opportunity to give and receive positive feedback that will hopefully help us all in our prospective careers.
As someone who is in the second-degree computer science program (BCS), I have been well accustomed to years of previous undergraduate writing experience through assignments, lab reports, professional emails in pursuit of internships, and even a published research article. My expertise lies in my great attention to detail such as when proofreading texts for grammar or spelling mistakes. I can also offer creative input when it comes to brainstorming ideas for topics, while respecting the ideas and opinions of other team members. A skill that I am practising and developing is the ability to set deadlines for myself so I can adhere to my commitments. I stand by the view that learning in a collaborative setting happens best when everyone can contribute and communicate with each other clearly. I truly believe we can all learn something from each other, and every group member can add value to the team and contribute towards each other’s learning goals.
If you like working in a respectful, communicative team atmosphere please feel free to reach out to me at varneega.theva10@gmail.com. I look forward to speaking with you further.
Kindest regards,
Varneega Theva
