I am a UBC student originally from Toronto, ON currently in the BCS (Bachelor of Computer Science) program, which is a second degree program. My first degree was in bio/psych at McMaster University and although I enjoyed my program, I found myself being fascinated with programming after taking an introductory style course offered online for free. After seeing that UBC offers an accelerated 2 year program for compsci, I decided to move to Vancouver and enroll in this program. In terms of career prospects, I am not set on a specific career such as a front-end or back-end programmer but I do hope to explore these options further during future co-op terms.

Some of the things I like to do in my spare time include hitting the gym, going for hikes/exploring Vancouver, reading and baking. Seeing as though interactions will be limited since this is an online course, feel free to connect with me. Would love to chat!
