Throughout my learning and teaching practices, I have focus a lot on understanding who I really am and how my students differ from each other. It seems like I was not born to be a math with all the failing/poor grades and performance on math all the way up until grade 5. I started to wonder whether there is some learning disabilities that really stopped me along the way of learning and how I can really understand my students (especially those with difficulty in school) according to my own learning experience. But really, I wonder whether there is such thing called learning disabilities just because we are all different and have our own way of thinking.
