In my life, I had only one working experiences. During my internship a problem of ethic occurred. Believe it or not, did the destiny made it on purpose so I could share this experience with you? I don’t know.
In follow up to the incident that occurred during the Sauder Frosh, I have decided to post a comparison between the solutions that were adopted by the two companies i worked with.
First, in a famous jewels company that I suppose a lot of you should know.
We were preparing the « sell of the year » because it’s the only sell where there are sales in this company, everyone had to be really focus on his work. During the preparation, one of the employee was angry had his director and made a reflection about her religion. He was directly fired without any time to apologize.
This experience to figure out, what should do UBC concerning this incident, should they show mercy and consider that as we say “mistake is human” or should we be impartial as a company fire the people in charge ?
I think they should be some sanctions that would proof an understanding from the Frosh student and not people expelled from the school.
