Before viewing the video, I thought that the answer to this was that language shapes thinking a little bit. After this task, I am convinced otherwise. Learning more about the intricacies of languages other than English helped me to understand that language (gender, time, number, etc.) when connected to ideas of culture and non-verbal communication can make considerable differences in thinking.
