FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE

The Finance and Administration team will be responsible for preparing all budgets and distributing money for all our events throughout the year. They will be required to be familiar with UBC SAC’s financial policies and prepare year end reports for the club. During planning sessions, they will be required to propose fundraising ideas in order to fund club events.

Other tasks include sponsorship and finding external financial resources to assist with the cost of events and administrative fees. This team will manage hiring pages and recruit volunteers for events.

1 Administration Coordinator

  • Makes agendas and minutes for each meeting.
  • Books rooms for events and meetings, is the ultimate booking representative for the club. The event coordinators must inform the administration coordinator of any bookings with the AMS.
  • Keep files organized on the club’s shared Google Drive

1 Membership Coordinator

  • Hosts booths at clubs days
  • Manages member recruitment
  • Takes care of all membership activity and development
  • Checks up on membership attendance if they haven’t come for a long time

1 Finance Coordinator

  • Collects money for members and events.
  • Manages the cashbox
  • Helps treasurer oversee request for reimbursements

1 Grants and Sponsorship Coordinator

  • Applies and searches for grants and scholarships  (2 per term)
  • Applies and searches for sponsorship (2 per term)
  • Drafts sponsorship letters for other members to send out
