I used Windows DVD maker to make a CD that included a video I had made in a previous course as well as some picture. I have used this program before to make videos and find it to be very user friendly. All I had to do was drag, drop and compile. This is a very simplistic way of creating a DVD. Since I have worked with this program before, I did not have any difficulties. I thought the process was pretty smooth.
Creating DVDs is not time consuming at all if you are using a tool you are familiar with. It can be a very valuable tool for both teachers and learners. Not only can teachers use this to compile content for students but students can use this as a way of displaying their work or presenting what they have been working on.
