In this first phase, exercises will be performed as a circuit, starting with 1 round and increasing numbers of rounds as the client becomes more proficient at performing the movements. The main goal for this first 6 weeks is to increase body awareness and learn fundamental movement patterns enough to comfortably perform exercises with weights without compromising good form, which prevents exercise related injuries.
As time progresses, the Leg Press exercise will be replaced with Squats, and the Glute Bridge will be replaced with deadlifts if the client is able to perform them. The weight prescription maybe changed to all body weight for the first couples weeks, and progress up as the client is comfortable.
