The newspaper was forced to stop publishing after government cuts severely curtailed their budget.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 1159px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/diginit.sites.olt.ubc.ca\/files\/2013\/10\/kinesis_blog.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1149\" height=\"780\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kinesis &#8211; April 1980 (The UBC Library Digitization Centre)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In 2013,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/digitize.library.ubc.ca\/digitizers-blog\/kinesis-is-now-available-online\/\">the UBC Library Digitization Centre<\/a> at the University of British Columbia made\u00a0every copy of <em>Kinesis <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/open.library.ubc.ca\/collections\/kinesis\" target=\"_blank\">accessible online<\/a>. Each edition can be browsed online or downloaded for offline use. The digitization of <em>Kinesis<\/em> has allowed access to the generations and demographics who previously were not exposed to the magazine and its ideas. In this way,\u00a0<em>Kinesis<\/em> and its mission live on despite the fact that it is no longer published.
