Given that the full title is a bit of a mouthful, I’m sure you can understand why this blog had instead been titled “1819 Bible Atlas: Designed for the Use of Children and Youth” instead.<\/p>\n

A bible atlas, and one designed for a specific demographic no less, is far from unusual in the relative context of the history of print books. However, the various uses and backgrounds that inform the context of this bible atlas can provide an interesting and comprehensive over view into 19th century print culture. It is the mission of this blog to explore the history of this small book to the best of this researcher’s knowledge, and to explore its purpose in the world as a guide to Scripture History.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
