Unique baskets using local materials or materials from Haida Gwaii are created. Dyes used in patterning are all natural, most will be home-made. The patterns are inspired by nature, traditionally used. Any other adornment may be added in contemporary style but will most likely be related to a traditional design element used in other facets of Haida art and culture.
