After extensive research I have complied a list of the 10 best LinkedIn practices. LinkedIn is a business social networking site. These recommendations aim to boost engagement and maximum the potential of LinkedIn. The list is separated into smaller themes.<\/p>\n

Profile Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Choosing professional profile and background photos. (Deehan)<\/li>\n
  2. Sharing relevant video and visual content. It is recommended to upload content directly to LinkedIn as opposed to linking to another site. (Fields)<\/li>\n
  3. Utilizing the 411 rule. For every \u201cself-serving post,\u201d share 1 post from another person and 4 related posts. (Fields)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Maximizing Engagement<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. \u00a0Observing analytics to optimize engagement. (Marx) Understand demographics and who is viewing your profile and posts. (Fields)<\/li>\n
    2. Create LinkedIn specific contest as opposed to reposting the same material on different social media sites. (Fields)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
