Nowadays, the road traffic conditions in cities become worse with an increasing number of cars bought. It always take people plenty of time to find a parking lot among restricted supplies. Under this circumstance, a new app helping people find a parking lot has been created. However, many people doubt the ethics of making money by using the app, which is illustrated in Faria Sedighi’s blog.

Faria Sedighi disagrees with the idea to make money out of public resources by claiming that it violates business ethics. From my point of view, the app should be promoted if it really relieves the pressure of drivers to park their cars. Drivers can easily solve the problem of parking by just waiting for several minutes on the app. As is mentioned in the article, Faria Sedighi considers that not everyone will use the app, which will cause the insufficiency of data and resources. In my opinion, the problem is not critical because the app can be easily promoted if it is efficient. 

However, regarding to the safety of using the app while driving and the problem of business ethics, these two aspects cannot be ignored. It can be imagined that when a driver uses the app, attention will be distracted, which can cause fatal safety issues. Besides, it is not ethical to earn money by using public property and it may also cause worse traffic conditions if there is a mistake in the database.
