A significant amount of inquiry needs to be undertaken in the practice of teaching, so I have created this page in order to write down the processes of self-reflection that I have undertaken.
It’s essential that teachers engage in inquiry and self-reflection so that they can better themselves professionally. Teaching is not a craft that can be perfected in the course of a practicum or even a few years of employment in the classroom, so it is essential that we strive to improve our craft by questioning the results of our practice tweaking conditions, reimplementing the lesson with the changes and evaluating the new one. The use of such a scientific approach to understand how we can make ourselves better educators is critical.
