I did my community field experience at St. George’s School in Vancouver because their school offers German and I wanted to gain some experience in teaching German (one of my teachables) due to the fact that I was unable to teach German in my practicum.  St. George’s is an independent school and has an exceptional sports department as well as a formidable language department.  I was able to teach a few lessons in German and European History and one lesson in Spanish.

My CFE was a great experience and I learned a great deal.  I periodically kept a journal entry on the experience which I am adding to this portfolio.
