It really is impossible to expect a novice teacher to be able to posit a teaching philosophy that will remain unaltered throughout that person’s career. A proficient teaching philosophy is a complex and complicated thing that requires much consideration and self-reflection. From the five years that I have served in this industry I have managed to construct a provisional teaching philosophy that I will apply to my practice once I get hired in the near future, but that I am constantly reexamining and revamping based on the changing conditions of my career.
