Submission Guidelines

We invite you to submit an extended abstract of your work to be considered for presentation at WISE 2015. Extended abstract submitted should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • 5 pages in length (double-spaced, 12 pt. font, 1 inch margins) including everything, except for references (references can be included in the 6th page).
  • The only acceptable file format is PDF.
  • Coauthored works should be submitted under the name of the author that will be presenting, if accepted, and submissions are limited to one per person. An individual can present only one paper in the workshop. (I.e., your name can appear as a co-author in multiple submissions. But, you could submit only one as a presenting author.)
  • In order to minimize the repeated exposure of the same paper, we encourage authors to submit only papers which will not be presented at either ICIS 2015 or WITS 2015. We will remove any paper from the WISE 2015 program, if the paper is included for presentation at ICIS 2015 or WITS 2015.

Format of the Workshop

Keeping the tradition of previous workshops, each accepted paper will be presented by the author, followed by a discussant and Q&A period. 30 minutes are allotted for each paper. The time will be monitored by the session chairs according to the following allocation:

  • Presenting Author: 20 minutes
  • Discussant: 5 minutes
  • Q&As: 5 minutes
